Lynne Duval, MSW, LICSW founded Granite State Child & Family Counseling, PLLC in December 2004. She is a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker in the state of NH. She graduated from Boston University with a Master's degree in Social Work. She is a member of the National Association of Social Workers (NASW-NH) New Hampshire chapter and follows the NASW Code of Ethics for sound clinical practice. Lynne's approach to treatment includes many methods of therapy. Primarily she works from an attachment based model using Emotionally Focused Therapy for Individuals and Couples. She is trained in transdisciplinary assessment and treatment. She works closely with families to assist in the parenting process. Areas of specialty include relationship issues, trauma, ADHD/ADD, Oppositional Defiant Disorder, Anger Management, Divorce/Separation, Depression, behavioral disorders, parenting difficulties, and various Anxiety or Phobic disorders. Lynne's experience working with adults has included substance abuse/dependence, dual diagnosis, anxiety, depression, divorce/separation, loss/grief, incarceration, chronic mental illness, relationship difficulties, parenting/discipline, trauma, stress, and adjustment difficulties. She provides educational seminars to the community on various topics of interest. Lynne works with her clients to help them create change through corrective emotional experiences and focuses on relationship connection.
